Rick Ramos

Rick Ramos is the founder and leader of Got the Soul, better known as the GTS band

Rick is a song writer,, arranger, music and video producer, booking agent.  He plays guitar and Cuban tres guitar and signs background vocals.

Tommy Nunnelly

Tommy has handled the lead vocalist position in GTS since 1985. He and Rick met while both perfroming with “Little Bruce and the Billionares” in 1984. They went on to start GTS and the rest is history. Tommy won the Bay Area Blues Society Singer of the year in 2011.

TW Johnson Jr.

TW started GTS with Rick Ramos in 1985. He has held the drum chair in GTS  and Latin Soul Project. TW is an accomplished song writer and producer.

Geoffrey Glibas

Geoff is an original member of Third Rail, Natural Impulse and GTS. He plays keyboards and is an accomplished music writer. 

Geoff has performed with Rick Ramos for over 50 years. He is a native of Richmond California and also performs with his smooth jazz group Chocolate Rice in south bay area.

Tom Fuglestad

Tom is an original member of NIB, GTS and Latin Soul Project. He and Rick Ramos grew up in the same neighborhood in Richmond, Ca. and have been performing together for 50 years. 
Tom plays trumpet and flugelhorn in GTS. He is also a talented music writer, arranger and producer.

Kevin Galloway

Kevin Galloway has been performing with GTS for the last 5 years. He is a music educator and performs with numerous band around the bay area. Kevin plays a variety of brass instruments and is the lead sax player in GTS.

Jeff Wollman

Jeff was born in New York City. In 1970 Jeff moved to Berkeley California to pursue his music studies. While playing in the Laney Big Band he met Oakland drummer Larry Vann who asked him to audition for the Marvin Holmes band Justice. Jeff has been playing in GTS for over 7 years on and off.

Paul (Tut) Kyle

Paul replaced Ron Vallo on Trombone in Natural Impulse in 1978. He is a Richmond, Ca Native who performed in the Richmond High Jazz band 1970-74.

Paul lives in the South Bay and continues to gig with local bands in the Bay Area. He comes back to the nest to perform with GTS as needed. He is an accomplished musician, and you will hear him on some of the Natural Impulse recordings.

David Hernandez

David Hernandez is a Bay Area Percussionist who has played in several bands in the East Bay area since the mid-1970’s. David plays trap drums as well as timbales, congas and hand percussion.

Tim Leong

Tim Leong has played bass in the GTS band for the last 7 years. He performs regularly with his blues group, Third Eye Blind and with Forum with Jeff Wollman.

Ray Dryer

Ray Dryer has played trombone in GTS for the last 10 years. He performs regularly with various groups in the bay area including the UC Berkeley Jazz Ensemble.

Vince Vigil

Vince Vigil has worked with GTS for the last year. He works as a sub on bass when needed he has his own band, Barrio Funk.
